I often fall in love with a line of fabric but don't want to use just that line. Everything would match too much for me and I want a more unique look. In this quilt I used 1 layer cake (11x11) of Praire Paisley from Moda and 1 jelly roll (2 1/2 in.strips)of Kashmir II from Moda. I surrounded my layer cake square with the jelly roll strips combining the two different lines of fabric giving my quilt a scrappy unique look. If you like scrap quilts, this is a quick easy way to get lots of fabrics in one quilt...I'd say it was instant gratification!

What a lovely, quick quilt. Don't you love the Prairie Paisley line? Very nice quilt.
